This Privacy Policy describes how KSC Electric Danville LLC and KSC Plumbing Danville LLC, doing business as Hurst Electric & Plumbing (“Hurst,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.hurstelectricky.com, submit a request through our website forms, call or text us, or otherwise interact with our online properties. Hurst is a locally owned plumbing and electrical contractor based at 105 Man O War Dr, Danville, KY 40422.

We designed this policy for homeowners, property managers, and commercial customers in Danville and surrounding Central Kentucky communities. It is written in plain language. If something here is unclear, contact us using the details at the end of this page — we would rather answer a privacy question than leave you guessing.

Who we are

Hurst Electric & Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing and electrical services, including repairs, upgrades, remodels, standby generator work, and related consultations. Hours are generally 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; we do not advertise 24/7 coverage.

Information we collect

We collect information in three broad ways: what you give us, what we collect automatically, and what service providers process on our behalf.

Information you provide

• Contact and service details. When you request an appointment, estimate, or project review, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, inquiry type, trade or project description, and any notes you include in a message.
• Phone and SMS communications. If you call us or opt in to text messages, we process the phone number you use and the content of the conversation as needed to schedule work, confirm appointments, and follow up on your request.
• Financing inquiries. If you ask about monthly payment options on qualifying projects, we collect the contact information needed to discuss availability. We do not collect payment card numbers through this website (see Payments below).
• Reviews and other voluntary submissions. If you leave a review or send photos of a job site, we treat that content as information you chose to share with us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours may collect standard technical and usage data when you browse — including IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate timestamps. When analytics tools are configured for this site, that data may be processed by Google Analytics 4 (GA4) through Google Tag Manager (GTM) under Consent Mode settings described below. We do not invent analytics tools in this policy: if a tool is not yet live on the site, this disclosure still describes how those tools work when they are enabled with Hurst’s own containers.

Information from service providers

Our website is built and hosted on the CI Web Group Hydra platform. Content and form configurations may be managed through a WordPress-based Project Management System (PMS). Form submissions are relayed through platform APIs so our team can respond. If call tracking (for example, WhatConverts dynamic number insertion) is later contracted for Hurst, call metadata such as the number dialed, caller ID, and call duration may be processed by that provider — we will only name a call-tracking vendor here when it is actually in use.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Respond to appointment requests, estimate requests, and project reviews;
• Confirm territory fit (core / growth / Lexington specialty / generator projects) before booking;
• Schedule, perform, and follow up on plumbing and electrical work;
• Send transactional communications by phone, email, or — only if you opt in — SMS;
• Improve website performance, content relevance, and lead quality using aggregated analytics;
• Maintain security, prevent spam and abuse, and comply with legal obligations;
• Discuss financing options available through third parties when you ask (without collecting card data on this site).

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use form submissions to send unrelated marketing spam. SMS consent is always optional and is never a condition of purchase or of submitting a service request.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that fall into two practical groups:

• Necessary. Cookies required for basic site operation, security, and remembering a consent choice you already made.

On first visit, a branded cookie-choice banner lets you Accept or Decline optional cookies. Declining updates Consent Mode so non-essential storage signals are denied where the banner choice applies. Google Consent Mode v2 ADVANCED is configured so measurement tags are not hard-blocked from loading in the United States; consent gates storage and advertising signals, not the ability to understand that a visit occurred in a privacy-preserving way. Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland start from a denied-storage default until a choice is made. Analytics (GTM / GA4)

When Hurst’s own Google Tag Manager container and Google Analytics 4 property are connected to this site, page views and related events may be processed by Google under Google’s terms and our Consent Mode settings. We never intentionally load another company’s GTM container on this site. Until Hurst’s container ID is provisioned and published in site configuration, analytics may be incomplete — that does not change your rights under this policy or under the Your Privacy Choices section below.

Forms, phone numbers, and spam protection

Our contact form asks for a phone number so we can return your call or text about the work you requested. Submissions are protected by platform spam controls: a honeypot field and, when the deploy environment provides a reCAPTCHA site key, Google reCAPTCHA executed at submit time. We do not invent a captcha UI that does nothing. Form data is processed through the Hydra / PMS form-relay path so our team can respond; it is not published on the public website.

SMS / text messaging

If you check the optional SMS consent box on a form, you agree that Hurst Electric & Plumbing may send text messages about your service request — for example appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups — to the mobile number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase and is not required to submit the form. You may still be contacted by phone or email about a request you initiated.

Payment Security and PCI

This website does not collect or store payment card numbers. When financing or payment options are discussed, any card entry or credit application happens offline with our team or on a third-party lender / payment platform — not through an on-site card form. Because we do not process raw card data on hurstelectricky.com, PCI DSS cardholder-data requirements for an on-site payment page are not applicable to this website. Ask us for current financing details when you request an estimate; we do not publish invented APR figures on this site.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to operate the business and this website:

• Service providers. Hosting, content management (WordPress PMS), form relay, analytics (when enabled), spam protection (reCAPTCHA), and similar vendors who process data on our instructions.
• Financing or payment partners. Only if you ask to pursue a payment option that requires introducing you to a third-party lender or processor.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, court order, or to protect people and property from fraud or harm.
• Business transfers. If Hurst’s assets are involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction, information may transfer as part of that deal under appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell mailing lists. Manufacturer or brand names mentioned for educational or equipment context (including Generac for standby generators) do not mean we share your personal information with those manufacturers unless you ask us to involve them in a warranty or product support matter.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above — including completing service, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or accounting requirements — then delete or de-identify it when retention is no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of a contractor website and lead forms. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure; if you believe your information was compromised in connection with our site, please contact us promptly.

Children
